CURRICULUM AND ARTISTIC CAREER

From childhood on Roman Pichler has always sung in choirs (amongst others with the Vinzentiner Sängerknaben, Millander youth choir, vocal ensemble NovAnitqua, male quartett "White Tower Singers", Graz University Choir, Coro dell'Università Ca Foscari - Venezia, Domkantorei Graz, Opera Chorus of the KUG , extra chorus of the Graz Opera House).

Concert tours as a chorister and soloist already taken him throughout Europe.

 

Since completing his architectural studies at the Technical University of Graz (2011 with distinction), he follows his desire for a professional singing career. Today, he studies at the Johann-Joseph-Fux-Conservatory in Graz with Natela Nicoli (master classes with Kurt Widmer, Francisco Araiza, Giacomo Aragall, Angelika Kirchschlager, Eteri Lamoris, Ronald Pries, Claudia Rüggeberg and Stefanie Kopinits).

 

Two-time winner (1st place in 2014 and 3rd place in 2013) at the International Singing Competition of the "Accademia Belcanto" in Graz and Frohnleiten.

 

He was a soloist in diverse productions, concerts, recitals and exhibitions: among other things, Alfred in "Die Fledermaus" by J. Strauss at the municipal theater of Bolzano, Count Boni in the "Gypsy Princess" from Kálmán, Caramello in "A Night in Venice" by J. Strauss and Dr. Siedler in "The White Horse Inn" of Benatzky in South Tyrolean Operetta Festival in Bolzano and Bressanone, Gustl in "Spring Parade" by Robert Stolz at the Schlossberg stage casemates Graz, Don Curzio in the Mozart opera "The Marriage of Figaro" at the classical music festival at Kirchstetten Castle, Mozart's Requiem, Uriel in "The Creation" by Haydn, "MESSIAH" by Romberg, "The 7 last words of Christ on the Cross" by César Franck, "MISSA SOLENNELLE" by Rossini, the Feldkirch Festival and concerts at the Accademia Belcanto Graz among others in planetary hall of the castle Eggenberg, at the Graz Opera, in Stefaniensaal and Minoritensaal.

 

In the spring of 2015 he was seen as Duke of Mantua in the opera "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi in Mautern in Styria and Graz as part of the Festival 'Art in Liesingtal', and as Monostatos in "The Magic Flute" by Mozart at KUG ,

 

For Winter 2015 he will be seen as Nemorino in "The Elixir of Love" by Gaetano Donizetti in the South Tyrolean Operetta Festival in Walter House Bolzano and Bressanone forum.
